Xianda College of Economics and Humanities (Shanghai International Studies University), located in Shanghai, was established in 2004 as one of the first full-time undergraduate independent colleges in Shanghai approved by the Ministry of Education of China. It is an applied technology university with emphasis on language and economics and coordinated development of other disciplines (major + English).

The College of Economics and Humanities of Shanghai International Studies University is located in the Hongkou Campus of Shanghai International Studies University, with an elegant environment, a strong humanistic atmosphere, and convenient transportation, with modern standard teaching buildings, comprehensive buildings, administrative offices and student apartment buildings.

Creating an environment without an educational connotation is not vital. Therefore, while we make materials for educational system, we also think the relationship between environment and education into it.

The cultural environment of the school should look good and be more durable; it should be good for the eyes and good for the heart.

Therefore, in the selection of materials for campus decoration, the aesthetics of art and the environmental durability of performance are considered and driven together at the same time. In the newly constructed school building of this case, after many communications and tests, the school chose the recycled marble Roman gray PX1017 and environmental terrazzo PXS100, which are both beautiful and environmentally friendly.
